Motribe’s primary function is to reduce the initial cost and time overhead of developing a mobile community. In many cases community-building is experimental and should, in theory anyway, be a low-risk endeavor. That’s where Motribe comes in.
Until now the process of building mobile community sites has been expensive and time-consuming. Many companies and individuals have had to re-learn the same lessons about content adaptation for a diversity of devices that is far more prolific than the desktop internet. Testing is also time-consuming and costly, whereas most brands want to get straight to the part where they are investing in user acquisition.
Time to market is critical and this is why we feel there is a strong need for a service that can provide highly-scalable hosting and a quick deployment without all the usual deployment problems. The mobile web is also a different environment , one where many more factors come into play around user experience.
