Motribe is looking for a skilled and motivated PHP developer interested in working at a mobile web startup. If you do not want to work at a startup, please don’t apply. We’re looking for people who understand the needs of a startup and are willing to get involved.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Scaling our applications to keep up with massive growth
• Development for internal and external customers
• Independently develop test and deploy new innovative features and products
• Systems integration with customer and public APIs

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year work experience in a web or mobile web development environment
• Experience working with Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Memcached, GitHub
• Good technical problem-solving skills
• Good sense of visual literacy and user experience
• Basic Linux systems administration experience
• Must be willing, on occasion, to work long hours and over weekends
• An intimate understanding of the secret sauce of webscale
• Willingness to work in a high-pressure technology start-up that may not always look like it’s going to survive.
