On March 3rd Vincent and I are embarking on our first international trip as Motribe co-founders. We’ll be visiting London for 2 days, New York for 5 days and Austin for about 12 days.

We decided we wanted to go to SXSW this year so with that in mind we are making the best of our travels and figured that if we are going to be abroad we may as well do it properly.

In London we are attending an Open Coffee event on Thursday morning as well as other meetings on Thursday and Friday.

In New York we will also be attending an Open Coffee event as well as meeting with agencies and potential partners.

Finally the biggest part of our trip will be Austin, Texas for the SXSW Festival. I have wanted to attend this particular festival for years. It doesn’t feel pretentious like many other festivals, it is relatively well attended and doesn’t just cater for geeks with startups. I’m looking forward to the music part of the conference and hearing some famous musicians speaking about their digital successes.

All in all this is going to be a grueling work trip for Vincent and I. We’re also gearing up for some freezing weather. We’ve heard reports of sub-zero temperatures and snow.
