Following in the success of its inaugural festival, the Franschhoek Wine Valley will be hosting yet another exciting and interactive Cook Franschhoek, the Summer Edition, which takes place over the weekend of the , 7th, 8th and 9th of October.
Join some of the Valley’s highly acclaimed chefs and winemakers as they present three hands on demonstration kitchens with the focus on ingredients, festive cooking and food groups. Learn how to work with red meat, buchu and other ingredients at the Ingredients Kitchen, and explore your love for extraordinary dishes at the Speciality Foods Kitchen.
Master the art of preparing the perfect Christmas meal at the Festive Cooking Kitchen, where the chefs will share their secrets on cooking succulent turkey and mouth watering Christmas cakes.
Restaurants in and around Franschhoek will also be hosting their own exciting demonstrations. Participating restaurants include The SalmonBar, Freedom Hill, Holden Manz, Ryan’s Kitchen, Mange Tout, Franschhoek Country House and Villas, L’Ermitage, Huguenot Fine Chocolates, Le Franschhoek, Haute Cabrière, La Motte, Grande Provence and Café Bon Bon.
