Today saw the launch of a new feature for our users in India, the Tribe promotion tool.

To make this tool live in India we needed implement our brand new mobile payment system and virtual currency called Motribe Coins. Motribe will support Aircel, Airtel, Idea, Reliance, Tata, Uninor and BPL at the time of launch with Vodafone to follow shortly. India is the first market that Motribe is rolling out to with more to follow.

If you are in India and head over to the new Motribe mobile tribe builder (more on this soon) and create a tribe of your own you are now able to promote your tribe on the Motribe portal.

India is a massive mobile market not only for Motribe but for any company looking to launch and test new mobile products. Motribe has been focusing on the Indian market for a fair amount of time and are happy to be innovating in this market.
