Yesterday it was brought to our attention that Forbes Africa had written a feature about the top 20 start-ups in Africa.

Motribe made it in to the top ten at position nine.

The overall winner was Mxit and congratulations must go out to Alan Knott-Craig for his contribution to the new face of Mxit. Yola came in at second and for a more detailed list of the other startups in the top 20 you can head over to Startup Africa.

Motribe is extremely proud to have made it in to this list and in to Forbes Magazine for the first time. It’s also great to be mentioned in a continent-wide list and with some amazing local companies too.
