Motribe has always maintained a strong focus on the masses. We like to cater for as many people on as many different cellphones as possible. Sticking with this focus we are proud to announce that we have launched our mobile web tribe builder.

Anyone with a mobile phone, browser and internet connection can now head over to http://motribe.mobi and build a tribe of their own. Whether you are into dogs, dancing, music, a sport of some kind or any other weird and wonderful hobby, you’re now able to build a tribe and connect with other like-minded mobile web users straight from your mobile phone.

Some of the features of the mobile web tribe builder that we’d like to highlight include:

On the go reporting

Once your tribe is up and running you can keep up to date with how your tribe is doing anywhere, anytime. Logging in to your Motribe account on your phone will give you access to reports including how many new users you have, how many page impressions your tribe has done as well as information on photos, blog posts and more.

Logo builder

Mobile users on features phones very rarely have the tools at their disposal that allow them to build a sexy logo for the tribe. Motribe now does that for you, on the fly. Users who have created tribes can now type in their tribe name and Motribe will generate 15 different logo options and multiple color choices that the user can choose from.

Once the choice is made their new logo is updated and live and optimised for the mobile web.

Wizard walkthrough tribe tools

The new wizard walkthrough guide shows mobile users who have never built a tribe on Motribe what to do next to make sure they stand the best chance of having a kick-ass tribe.

Multiple tribe creation

Previously one user was able to create and own a single tribe. We’ve had some requests from users around the world asking us to allow them to own and run multiple tribes. This is now possible on the new Motribe portal using your mobile phone.

Invite friends

Tribe owners who are excited to kick things off in their tribes can invite their friends via email and SMS.

Users who have a Yahoo!, Hotmail, Gmail or any other major email address can simply invite friends straight from the Motribe mobile dashboard to join their new tribe. Users can also enter a mobile number and fire off an SMS with a link to join their new tribe.

Promotion tool
